    A content led organic strategy to increase brand awareness and ultimately organic traffic into the website through optimising existing pieces of content & the inclusion of high quality rewrites.

    Kidney Research UK had a wealth of content on-site which was highly useful but not optimised for acquisition. They also had tracking problems derived from double tracking & cookie implementation issues meaning they couldn’t effectively evaluate the performance of content on the website. Within the medical space fresh new content has a significant amount of sign of needed, so we knew our biggest opportunity was to optimise existing.

    Strong technical foundations for long-term success

    Our first priority was establishing a solid technical foundation. We resolved tracking issues in Google Analytics to measure the impact of our work and assess high-performing content. A full site audit addressed issues like parameter indexation bloat, broken internal links, and conflicting tags.

    Opportunity Scoping & Data Analysis

    In parallel, we conducted comprehensive keyword research to uncover growth opportunities for Kidney Research UK. With its strong authority, the brand had several keywords just off page one. We prioritised these for quick wins and sustainable growth.

    Strategy Is Nothing Without Execution

    After successfully auditing and fixing the highest priority technical issues it came down to briefing & developing content. The main implementation method was by optimising title heading tags at scale using the CMS to programmatically update in line with the opportunity we had highlighted. The second part was to build out additional pieces of content to sit on the existing pages to broaden our targeting or secondary & semantically relevant terms, although new content as this sat on an existing page this was significantly easier to get implemented.
